UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS:
Vapors in empty drum can explode if ignited. Vapors are heavier than air and travel along ground to ignition source. Exposure to head builds up pressure in closed containers. Cool with Water.


SECTION 5 - HEALTH HAZARD DATA

ROUTE OF ENTRY:
Inhalation: mouth or nose. Ingestion: mouth. Absorption: Skin or eye contact.

EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE:
Irritation to skin and eyes. Also defatting, or dermatitis with prolonged contact. Inhalation: dizziness and nausea. Swallowing can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Aspiration can be fatal.

HEALTH EFFECTS OR RISKS FROM EXPOSURE

ACUTE:
Irritation of skin and eyes. Dizziness and nausea if inhalled. Vomiting and diarrhea if ingested.

CHRONIC:
None known for mixture.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID

INHALATION:
Remove to fresh air. SKIN CONTACT: Wash with water for 15 minutes.

EYE CONTACT:
Wash with water for 15 minutes.

FOR INGESTION:
Do not induce vomiting, seek medical attention.

SUSPECTED CANCER AGENT:
No. This product ingredients are not found to be a carcinogen.

SECTION 7 - SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED:
Eliminate all ignition sources and wear self contained breathing unit and protective clothing. Contain spill and absorb with inert material. Place in D.O.T. waste drum. Call waste hauler. Waste product may have a flash point below 140 Deg F. Do not contaminate water supply, toxic to fish.

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:
All waste disposed in accordance with federal, state and local agencies by state approved contracted waste haulers.


SECTION 8 - SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION:
NIOSH approved respirator.

EYE PROTECTION:
Goggles.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES:
Neoprene.

OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
Work cloths. PVC apron, hat, shoes. Do not get on skin or in eyes. Wash clothes after use. Eyewash and safety shower.

 

SECTION 9 - SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS OR OTHER COMMENTS

PRECAUTIONARY LABELING:
Keep from flame or ignition source. Empty drum can be dangerous. Treat as a full drum.

APPLICATION:
For use on wood only. If on metal clean up with mineral spirits or soap and water.

OTHER HANDLING & STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Store in cool dry area away from all other chemicals. Store away from all flame or ignition source. Do not allow to freeze.
