SECTION 5 - HEALTH HAZARD DATA
ROUTE OF ENTRY:
Inhalation; mouth or nose. Ingestion: mouth. Absorption: skin or eye contact.
EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE
Inhalation:
Headache and nausea from breathing vapors.
Contact with skin or eyes:
May be irritating to skin and eyes.
Swallowed:
Very irritating to mucous membrane.
HEALTH EFFECTS OR RISKS FROM EXPOSURE:
ACUTE:
May cause eyes, nose, respiratory tract and skin irritation. May also cause headache,
dizziness, nausea, and drowsiness.
CHRONIC:
Not established for mixture.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID
Eye Contact:
Wash eyes immediately with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower
and upper eye lids occasionally. If irritation persists after washing, get medical
attention. Contact lenses should not be worn while working with chemicals.
Skin Contact:
Rinse with water. If irritation persists after washing, get medical attention.
Inhaled:
Move exposed person to fresh air at once. If loss of consciousness, give oxygen.
Swallowed:
Alkaline product--Do not induce vomiting. Give large amounts of water or milk. Get medical
attention.
SUSPECTED CANCER AGENT:
None. This product ingredients are not found to be a carcinogen.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE:
Pre-existing skin disorders, respiratory disease and blood disease.
