C02, Dry Chemical, Alcohol Foam.

HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS:
May form toxic materials:, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide, various hydrocarbons, etc.

FIREFIGHTING PROCEDURES:
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus with a full facepiece operated in the positive pressure demand mode when fighting fires.

SPECIAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS:
Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along the ground or be moved by ventilation and ignited by heat, pilot lights, other flames and ignition sources at locations distant from material handling point. Never use welding or cutting torch on or near drums (even empty) because product (even just residue) can ignite explosively. All five gallon pails and larger metal containers should be grounded and/or bonded when material is transferred.

SECTION 5 - HEALTH HAZARD DATA

EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE

EYES:
Exposure to liquid or vapors may cause severe eye irritation. Symptoms may include burning, tearing, redness, swelling, and eye damage.

SKIN:
Exposure may cause mild skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated exposure may dry the skin. Symptoms may include redness, burning, drying and cracking, and skin burns.

BREATHING:
Excessive inhalation of vapors can cause nasal and respiratory irritation, central nervous system effects including dizziness, weakness, fatigue, nausea, headache and possible unconsciousness, and even death.

SWALLOWING:
Can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Aspiration of material into the lungs can cause chemical pneumonitis which can be fatal.

FIRST AID

IF ON SKIN:
Remove contaminated clothing. Wash exposed area with soap and water. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

IF IN EYES:
If symptoms develop, immediately move individual away from exposure and into fresh air. Flush eyes for at least 20 minutes while holding eyelids apart and seek immediate medical attention.

IF SWALLOWED:
Do not induce vomiting, keep person warm, quiet, and get medical attention. Aspiration of material into the lungs due to vomiting can cause chemical pneumonitis which can be fatal.

IF BREATHED:
If affected, remove individual to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing has stopped give artificial respiration. Keep person warm, quiet and get medical attention.

SECTION 6 - REACTIVITY DATA

HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION:
Will not occur

STABILITY:
Stable

INCOMPATIBILITY:
Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents.

SECTION 7 - SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED:

SMALL SPILL:
Absorb liquid on vermiculite, floor absorbent or other absorbent material.

LARGE SPILL:
Eliminate all ignition sources (flares, flames including pilot lights, electrical sparks). Persons not wearing protective equipment should be excluded from area of spill until clean-up has been completed. Stop spill at source, prevent from entering drains, sewers, streams or other bodies of water. Prevent from spreading. If runoff occurs, notify authorities as required. Pump or vacuum transfer spilled product to clean containers for recovery. Absorb unrecoverable product. Transfer contaminated absorbent, soil and other materials to containers for disposal.

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:
Dispose of all waste in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.

SECTION 8 - SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION

PERSONAL PROTECTION:
For open systems where contact is likely, wear long sleeves, chemical resistant gloves, and chemical goggles. Where contact may occur, wear safety glasses with side shields. Where overexposure by inhalation may occur and engineering, work practice or other means of exposure reduction are not adequate, approved respirators may be necessary.

VENTILATION:
Maintain ambient concentrations below recommended exposure limits.

SECTION 9 - SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS OR OTHER COMMENTS

Containers of this material may be hazardous when emptied, since emptied containers retain product residues (vapor, liquid, and/or solid), all hazard precautions given in the date sheet must be observed.

The information accumulated herein is believed to be accurate but is not warranted to be whether originating with Green's Products or not.
