PLASTICURE
W/B
TACKIFYING RESIN
WATER BASE CURING COMPOUND
- Oxidizes Leaves Surface Clean
- Coverage: 400 Square Feet/Gallon normally
- 200 Square Feet/Gallon in heat or strong wind
PlastiCure is a formulation
of high molecular weight polymers compounded to form an impermeable film at the surface of
fresh concrete. This film prevents the escape of surface moisture to ensure full hydration
of the concrete surface. Used as directed, it prevents surface checking and cracking, even
in hot windy weather.
CUTS LABOR
Simple spray application replaces expensive
water fogging, tedious placing of paper or polyethylene sheeting, or placing and wetting
of straw, earth, rugs or similar materials.
ELIMINATES CLEAN-UP
The PlastiCure membrane lies within
the uppermost levels of the concrete. It requires no cleaning up, scraping, rubbing,
sandblasting or other preparation of the surface. If the surface is to be painted, tiled,
or waxed, the only preparation required is simple cleaning of accumulated dirt and dust.
ONE-COAT APPLICATION
Apply light fine mist of water
before application. Under normal weather conditions, one coat sprayed on at 400 FT SQ/GAL
immediately after the final trowelling is all that is required to cure the concrete to a
smooth, dense surface.
PROVIDES DENSE, SEALED
SURFACE
The PlastiCure membrane within the
concrete, together with the finishing operations, provides a smooth, dense, sealed surface
that is resistant to cracking, checking and dusting under normal traffic.
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
PlastiCure Emulsions are not freeze/thaw stable.
Protect from freezing. Keep containers tightly closed to prevent formation of fried film.
If film does form, product should be filtered before use.
